Akron Roller Derby (AKRD) is a skater-operated, flat track roller derby league and 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Akron, Ohio. We were founded in 2016 with the merger of two Akron-based leagues: NEO Roller Derby & Rubber City Roller Girls.

The league forms two teams, the Akron Roller Derby All-Stars, our best skaters that compete for regional and national ranking, and the AK Rowdy Rollers, our intermediate team that competes against other leagues' B-teams, but not for ranking.
